The manufacturing process starts with selecting a suitable marble block at the stone yard. Because the bathtub requires deep carving, the block must have sufficient structural integrity.
Our quality inspection team carefully checks for micro-fissures, vein distribution, and potential structural defects, selecting a block that can withstand the carving process while maintaining the desired natural marble appearance.

Once the block is selected, it is trimmed and squared to establish accurate reference surfaces.
Creating precise datum planes allows the block to be positioned correctly for automated machining and provides a stable foundation for the subsequent 5-axis CNC carving process.

The rough bathtub form is produced using advanced 5-axis CNC machining technology based on 3D CAD modeling.
The machine removes excess stone layer by layer using diamond tooling, gradually forming both the external oval profile and the internal cavity. This process provides the dimensional accuracy required for a large solid-stone bathtub while efficiently removing substantial amounts of marble.

After CNC rough carving, the bathtub enters the manual finishing stage.
Experienced stone craftsmen use pneumatic tools and hand-polishing discs to refine the CNC-machined surface, remove machining marks, and carefully shape the curved rim and other details. This combination of CNC precision and skilled hand craftsmanship gives the finished piece a smoother and more refined appearance.

The natural marble surface is then treated with transparent epoxy resin to fill micro-pores and help reinforce areas around natural veins.
After resin treatment, the bathtub undergoes multi-stage grinding and polishing to achieve a refined surface. A final stone sealer is applied to improve waterproof and stain-resistant performance, making the natural stone more suitable for bathroom applications.

Before shipment, the completed bathtub undergoes a detailed quality inspection to ensure the finished piece meets the required fabrication and surface standards.
Due to the size and weight of a solid marble bathtub, transportation protection is especially important. The finished piece is wrapped with multiple layers of pearl-cotton cushioning, securely strapped, and placed inside a heavy-duty fumigated export wooden crate for international ocean transportation.
