This custom bathroom vanity project was created for a private residential client in the United States, combining the dramatic natural beauty of Italian Calacatta Viola marble with the warmth of premium solid wood cabinetry.
The client was looking for a statement bathroom vanity that could bring together distinctive natural stone veining, refined craftsmanship, and precise integration with a custom wood structure. YUSHI STONE developed the project from stone layout and CAD refinement through precision fabrication, integrated sink assembly, factory trial fitting, quality inspection, and export packaging.
The finished vanity measures 54"W × 22"D × 34"H, featuring a Calacatta Viola marble countertop and integrated apron-front sink precisely fitted to the custom solid wood vanity.
Project Type: Custom Bathroom Vanity
Location: United States
Application: Private Residential Bathroom
Material: Italian Calacatta Viola Marble + Premium Solid Wood
Size: 54"W × 22"D × 34"H
Fabrication: Custom Stone Fabrication
Key Features: Digital Vein Matching, CNC Cutting, Integrated Apron-Front Sink, Structural Reinforcement, Factory Pre-Assembly
Calacatta Viola marble is known for its distinctive purple and white veining, making every slab naturally unique. For this project, the marble was not simply used as a countertop material—it became the visual centerpiece of the entire vanity.
The design required the marble countertop, backsplash, and apron-front sink panels to work together as one cohesive composition. This meant that material selection and vein planning were critical before fabrication even began.
YUSHI STONE carefully planned the stone layout to create a more harmonious visual flow while ensuring that the marble components could be accurately integrated with the solid wood cabinetry.
Before cutting, the raw Calacatta Viola slab was digitally scanned in high resolution. The technical team then created a digital layout for the individual components, allowing the natural purple and white veining to be coordinated across the countertop, backsplash, and front apron panels.
This process helps maximize the visual continuity of the natural stone while allowing the fabrication team to determine the cutting positions before production.
For custom marble furniture, this stage is particularly important because natural stone patterns cannot simply be reproduced after cutting.

Once the stone layout was confirmed, the project moved into CAD engineering.
YUSHI STONE translated the required dimensions and installation requirements into detailed fabrication drawings, covering faucet openings, drain positioning, corner profiles, and the connection between the marble assembly and solid wood vanity.
The engineering process ensured that every component was produced according to the required dimensions and that the finished marble assembly could accurately fit the wood structure.

The Calacatta Viola marble was precision cut using CNC waterjet processing, helping achieve accurate dimensions while reducing the risk of micro-fractures during fabrication.
After cutting, skilled stone craftsmen completed multiple stages of grinding and polishing along the exposed edges and interior basin.
The combination of precision machinery and hand finishing allowed the final marble components to achieve a smooth, refined surface while maintaining the natural character of the stone.

One of the defining features of this bathroom vanity is the integrated apron-front sink.
The basin assembly was fabricated using high-strength, color-matched epoxy adhesives to create a visually unified connection between the marble components. Additional internal structural supports were incorporated to improve load distribution and overall stability.
This approach allows the countertop and sink assembly to read as a cohesive stone element rather than a collection of separate components.
Before the vanity was prepared for international shipment, YUSHI STONE carried out a complete 1:1 factory dry-fit assembly.
The marble components were fitted onto the 54"W × 22"D solid wood vanity frame to verify dimensional accuracy and overall compatibility.
The QC process included:
Only after the complete assembly passed inspection was the vanity prepared for export.

Custom stone furniture requires careful protection during international transportation. After final inspection, the vanity was disassembled and protected using multiple layers of cushioning foam.
The complete unit was then secured inside export-grade, fumigation-free wooden crates, with the packaging designed to minimize movement, impact, and potential damage during transportation to the United States.
This packaging process formed an important part of the project's overall delivery solution, extending YUSHI STONE's service beyond fabrication to international project fulfillment.
This project demonstrates YUSHI STONE's ability to provide customized stone furniture solutions for high-end residential interiors, combining natural stone selection, digital vein matching, CAD engineering, precision fabrication, structural treatment, factory assembly, quality control, and international delivery.
Key capabilities demonstrated in this project:
For custom stone furniture, the quality of the finished product depends on more than the appearance of the stone itself. Material selection, vein planning, engineering accuracy, fabrication quality, structural integration, and final inspection all need to work together.
This Calacatta Viola bathroom vanity demonstrates how YUSHI STONE approaches a customized stone project from the initial slab through final preparation for international delivery.
The result is a bespoke marble vanity designed around the natural character of the stone while meeting the dimensional and functional requirements of a high-end residential project.
